Dan Steiner Earns CEM Designation

With today’s uncertain energy costs, reducing energy consumption, or at least using energy more efficiently, is becoming a top priority for an increasing number of organizations. To help our clients improve their energy use, D.L. Steiner continues to explore and expand our energy management capabilities and services. One of the most notable developments in this area happened recently when D.L. Steiner President, Dan Steiner, learned he had earned the Certified Energy ManagerSM (CEM®) designation from the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE). Headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, the AEE has over 11,000 members in 78 countries.

The purpose of the CEM program is to raise the standards and practice of energy management by recognizing those who demonstrate both knowledge and ability to manage energy wisely. “CEM” is an international symbol of competence in currently accepted best practices for effective energy management. Steiner is one of only 8,500 CEMs worldwide.

“The CEM is a visible symbol of D.L. Steiner’s capabilities in energy management,” said Steiner. “It also represents our commitment to deliver complete energy solutions to our clients.”
